Best Workplaces for Commuters Sacramento Region logo

Forty-five employers, representing more than 60,000 employees, qualified for the 2003 Sacramento Region's Best Workplaces for CommutersSM list. These employers met the National Standard of Excellence for commuter benefits, thereby cutting traffic and air pollution and improving health and quality of life for harried commuters. On October 24, 2003, Sacramento Region's Best Workplaces for CommutersSM Coalition released this first annual list to the media.

Meet the Coalition

Learn about the members of the Sacramento Region's Best Workplaces for CommutersSM Coalition, led by the Sacramento Area Council of Governments. This group of leading government, business, health, and human resource organizations is working to reduce traffic congestion, improve air quality, cut global warming emissions, and make commuting less stressful and costly.
